Acoustigard Partition Rolls have been designed to provide long term thermal and acoustic control for internal partition wall and ceiling assemblies and offer a range of thicknesses and densities to suit most applications. This thermally tested and compliant insulation can confidently be used in ceilings and internal walls requiring New Zealand Building Code compliance.

Thermal compliance to AS/NZS4859.1, also ensures that Acoustigard Partition Rolls provide repeatable performance both thermally and acoustically. Acoustigard will not slump in the wall cavity, ensuring that there are no unwanted voids or cavities that can lead to the loss of thermal and acoustic performance.

Typical applications include walls and partitions in high rise and low rise multi residential buildings.

KIMMCO Lamella Insuluation is manufactured from stable glass fibres bonded with thermosetting resins. The fibres are oriented perpendicular to the plane of adhering facing material. Easy to handle and supplied in roll form.

Application
KIMMCO Lamella Insululation is designed for thermal insulation of pipes, ducts and vessels.
It is suitable for a wide range of applications in HVAC and Industrial sector such as:

Performance
Working temperature up to 230C on un-faced fibre, performance varies for different facings.
Dimensionally stable under varying conditions of temperature and humidity.
Base fibres are non-combustible when tested in accordance with BS 476 (part 4), ASTM E 136 procedures. Moisture absorption is less than 1% by volume when tested in accordance with BS2972 or 6676, ASTM C 553. KIMMCO Lamella Insulation does not absorb moisture from the ambient air nor water by capillary attraction. FSK when used with KIMMCO Lamella Insul achieves a permeance of 0.02 perms when tested according to ASTM E 96 desiccant method. KIMMCO Lamella does not cause or accelerate corrosion of steel, copper or aluminium and will permit expansion and contraction of the metal pipe, duct or vessel without cracking or shrinking.

KIMMCO Clean Liner is used to line air conditioning ducts, walls and/or ceilings of acoustically sensitive areas to provide efficient sound insulation for any variety of structure, and/or sensitive facilities as home theatres or studios, curtain walls.

KIMMCO Clean liner is faced with a black, strong, durable, dimensionally stable woven glass fabric.

Declare - Label - Mammoth

Some ceilings do not have a roof space or attic above them. Mammoth™ Skillion high-density polyester sections are designed specifically for the ‘flat roof’ trend and sloped ceilings parallel to the roof line.

Mammoth Skillion doesn’t “loft” or increase in volume over time, ensuring the required 25mm air ventilation gap to the roof is always maintained. The product is stiff – making it very easy to handle – and cuts easily with a Bahco Insulation Saw (available from major hardware merchants).

Mammoth Skillion comes in two thicknesses; 115mm (R2.9) or 165mm (R3.2) depending on the climate zone and how much room has been specified for the ceiling cavity.

It is easy to install as it is friction fitted between studs, joists and nogs creating a seamless, smooth fit without tucks, creases or gaps. Quadzero™ is a high performance, foil-faced, mass-loaded vinyl noise barrier, offering superior acoustic transmission loss and low spread of flame surface covering.

Quadzero™ was developed to meet market noise reduction requirements in the domestic, commercial, industrial and OEM sectors.

To achieve this high performance, the Pyrotek engineering team developed Quadzero™ to be dense, thin, strong, tear-resistant and highly flexible. These properties give the product high transmission loss throughout the various weight ranges.It complies with British and international fire and building codes for low spread of flame.

Stiff lightweight panel constructions, such as plasterboard, drywall, plywood and hollow core walls, typically have coincidence dip resonance which allows noise to transmit through a construction. The coincidence dip is dependent on the material’s stiffness and thickness and occurs at the point where the sound transmitted through the structure matches the natural frequency of the panel.

Quadzero™ shifts the coincidence dip to frequencies limiting its impact, thereby maintaining the performance of the product. The thin, dense mass Quadzero™ barrier reflects and absorbs the transmission of sound through walls, ceilings and floors, reducing the critical frequencies generated from mechanical equipment, engine noise and electronic audio devices.

Fibertex 350

Bradford Fibertex 350 a lightweight medium density rockwool insulation product designed for applications up to 350˚C.

Fibertex 450

Bradford Fibertex 450 is a general purpose industrial insulation for use on process equipment, vessels, tanks and reactors. It is a medium duty thermal and acoustic insulation suitable for continuous operation up to 450oC.

Bradford Fibermesh 350 is a general purpose industrial insulation for use on process equipment, vessels, tanks and reactors. It is a light duty thermal and acoustic insulation suitable for continuous operation up to 350°C. It has a stitched Stainless Steel mesh that allows it to fit to irregular shaped surfaces.

Bradford Fibermesh 350 Rockwool is a lightweight medium density insulation product stitched on one side with a 25mm stainless steel wire mesh. Fibermesh 350 is manufactured from spinning a molten mixture of natural rock and recycled products into fine wool like fibers. The inorganic fibres are bonded together using a thermosetting resin and the mesh is then stitched to the base Rockwool to form the final product. The product can be identified by its dark green/brown appearance.

Applications

Fibermesh 350 can be used in applications where operating temperatures do not exceed 350°C such as process temperature control, energy
conservation, condensation prevention, acoustic absorption treatment and personnel protection for plant and equipment. The Mesh facing provides additional strength and flexibility allowing the product to form and hold form around process equipment, ductwork and large diameter piping.

Typical applications include:

Bradford Fibermesh 350 is easily installed by impaling the batts or blankets on weld pins and securing with speed clips. The mesh joins may be laced together for extra strength if required.
