Ace Clip-in
Backing Seal

Widely used in the building / glazing industry for retro-fitting applications as a “Flat” type backing seal where clearance is limited for application installation, the Clip-In type foot detail allows for easy replacement of old seals when the application is either in situ or manufactured making it hard to install a new seal.

• The main body/contact area of the seal is manufactured from Santoprene 67a which is a UV resistant thermoplastic that has superior flex fatigue resistance
• The specially designed pro-clip foot is designed for easy install of the seal into the application and is manufactured from Santoprene 52D which is a hard, black thermoplastic with low friction resistance and slip-in coating
• Made in New Zealand using the latest production technology

The Ace Clip-in Backing Seal is fully recyclable and compatible with glass substrates. These materials are widely used in the NZ glazing industry and are recognised for their excellent weatherability and properties to meet all types of applications.
